santa and bertha

this is the poster for an christmas website I am working on right now for the argonauten G2 web-agency in germany.

Most of the game graphics were done in 3D, almost 95% of it in poser, the rest in bryce.

LOTS of post-render work for the cutesy effects and the endless snow. oh the damn snow, am almost snow-blind after 4 weeks on this project

I also used:
anim8or (it is great and it is free).
adobe photoshop
adobe illustrator
adobe after effects for the video effects
adobe premiere for the editing
and of course macromedia flash 8.

Products used: too many to mention, I had a quite generous 3d mesh budget and really enjoyed spending it on content paradise.

but I must say, I am absolutely amazed by the quality and versality of "toon santa" by meshbox.com. It was a joy to work with, no matter what kind of torture I put it through (you will see .

I also raided Google 3D Warehouse for some of the landmarks. Used the meshes there as starting points.
